SERVICES AND SCOPE

Choosing the right starting point

It is a document-preparation and posting service for a straightforward money claim. You provide the exact names, one UK postal address, amount and brief facts; we prepare a formal-looking letter, print it and post it. It does not include a consultation, evidence review, legal advice, an assessment of prospects, amendments or ongoing correspondence.
A 20-minute telephone consultation plus preparation of either a Letter Before Action or a response to the dispute, with one round of amendments included.
No. Tradesmen Dispute Direct is not a law firm. We provide practical dispute support and document preparation. You remain responsible for decisions, correspondence and court filings.
No. Our standard service does not include acting as your representative or corresponding with the other side on your behalf.
No. We can provide written court-preparation support, but we do not attend hearings or represent customers in court.
ELIGIBILITY AND DELIVERY

The disputes we support

Residential property repair, maintenance, refurbishment and renovation contract disputes in England and Wales, including payment, workmanship, delay and completion disputes.
Yes. Our standard service is limited to disputes where the amount in dispute is under £10,000.
Yes. We support both claimant and defendant positions, subject to the service scope.
Yes. We can assist with qualifying disputes between subcontractors and main contractors.
Our target for the Starter Service is within 3 working days after the consultation and after we have received the information required to prepare it.
PRICING, BOOKINGS AND LIMITS

What to expect after booking

You do. Court fees and other third-party charges are not included in the £50 service stages.
Your appointment remains provisional until cleared funds are received. Card bookings can normally be confirmed when payment succeeds.
No. The standard service ends at judgment. Enforcement is outside the standard service.
No. Bundle preparation is not included in the standard £50 stages and can be quoted separately where appropriate.
Bookings can normally be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the appointment. Late changes, missed appointments and urgent work are subject to the applicable terms and charges.
No. No outcome can be guaranteed. The result depends on the facts, evidence, law and decisions made by the parties and the court.
Yes. The £150 package includes 4 standard £50 service credits plus one prepared-and-posted £10 Letter Before Action at no extra charge. The total individual value is £210. Credits are valid for 6 months, are non-transferable and unused credits are non-refundable.
Yes. Saturday consultations carry a £25 surcharge and are subject to availability in the live booking calendar.
